Une grève nationale aura lieu sur la plateforme de streaming Twitch lundi prochain (23). Les streamers brésiliens organisent ce que l’on appelle le « Blackout Twitch », pour réclamer un paiement équitable aux producteurs de contenu sur la plateforme et demander la transparence des données Amazon.
Comme toute autre grève impliquant des travailleurs, les streamers ne vivront pas le jour de leur choix. Ils demandent également aux utilisateurs de Twitch de ne pas regarder les émissions qui pourraient se produire sur la plateforme lundi.

Un profil Twitter a été créé pour promouvoir la grève des producteurs de contenu. Là, le mouvement autonome a déclaré qu’il n’avait aucun lien avec l’Union des Streamers, même en accord avec l’initiative. Le groupe qui a déclaré un arrêt de page n’a pas non plus de dirigeants ni de hiérarchie.
Dans un fil de discussion publié sur le réseau social, le mouvement a expliqué que, auparavant, le transfert des inscriptions versées aux streamers était de 1,42$, soit 7,69 R$, au taux de ce jeudi (19), le dollar vendu à 5,42 R$.
